I tried keeping the rules and working my head off to please God and it didn’t work. So I quit being a ‘law man’ do that I could be Gods man. Christ’s life showed me how and enabled me to do it. I identified myself completely with Him.
….I am no longer driven to impress God. Christ lives in me. The life you see me living is not ‘mine’ but it is lived by my faith in God.
To go back to that rule-keeping peer pressure religion would be an abandonment of everything personal and free in my relationship with God. If a living relationship with God could come by rule keeping, then Christ died unnecessarily.”
Galatians 2:19-21
—The life I live is not my own, its impacted & guided only because of what Christ’s life has shown me.
If i acted crazy, i did it for God. If i was overly serious, I did it for you. Christ’s love has moved me to such extremes. His love has the first and last word in everything we do.
